Tuition & Fees
TUITION RATES FOR 2017-2018
Bethany Lutheran School is operated and maintained by the members of Bethany Lutheran Church at considerable cost. This cost is covered by three main sources: a ministry contribution from Bethany Lutheran Church, fundraising/donations and tuition.
1st Child: Grades K-8 $3870.00
½ Day Kindergarten $2964.00
2nd Child: $3483.00
3rd Child: $2709.00
4th Child: $2322.00
The yearly tuition is due on August 3rd. Families are able to pay their tuition in one of two ways:
1) Payment in Full – This payment is made directly to the school by August 3, 2017.
2) Monthly payment through FACTS – over a period of 10 or 11 months beginning in July or August. There is a one-time fee for this option. It is currently $43.
A non-refundable application fee of $50.00 for all new students is due with the application.
Returning students: A non-refundable registration fee is due for all returning students based on the following time table:
January – March $135
June – August $250
New students: A non-refundable registration fee of $175 is due upon acceptance for admission.
All K-8 students: ($124.00): Technology Fee of $45, Curriculum Fee of $40, Field Trip Fee of $22, PTL Fee of $17.
PE Fee of $10 for students in grades 1-2.
Auction Support of $45 per family.
Athletic Fee of $25 per sport for all students grades 4-8 participating in the sports sponsored by the Kansas City Lutheran Athletic League.
Blue Springs School of Economics Fee (5th grade only): $18
Wildwood Outdoor Education (5th and 6th grade only): $80
LHS Olympic Day/Visit Day: 6th graders$3.00, 7th/8th graders $6.00
5th-8th grade students need a PE uniform. These may be purchased on registration day.
Yearbooks ($19) may be paid for on registration day or in the spring when they are ordered.
Band Fee of $350 for 5th-8th grade students participating in band. This fee may be divided into two semester payments, if desired, or added to your monthly FACTS payment. 4th grade band begins in January with $175 payable at that time, if joining band.
